We hope you'll find something to inspire you. Don't be afraid to volunteer you interest when something lights your fire. That's what we're here for.
How we're organized
Omni Center is a learning community. A Learning Community is an informally structured group whose purpose is to build a body of knowledge about the subject of their passion, and Omni people's passion is a world of peace based on justice, and an earth restored. We want our children - and all children - to live in a world that is safe, healthy, has good schooling, and is economically sound for the long haul. We want their work to be sustainable and filled with hope for the future.
Every project Omni people work on teaches us more about how to create and operate the new culture of peace. This body of knowledge is a precious resource. Every person who takes on responsibility for some part of their body of knowledge is helping to create leadership for the new world.
Omni Center is direct by a Steering Committee of committed activists who share this vision, and devote time, energy and resources to helping create the world we long for. Volunteer Project Organizers and committees perform virtually all the work that happens, and there's a lot of it. Omni can use your help. There's room for you in the Culture of Peace.
