Many documents from the anti-Iraq and Afghanistan war period will be archived in this area. As this new website slowly takes shape, they will be moved from the old webpage to this section.

A history of OMNI's Archives

Founder Dick Bennett decided early that OMNI needed to document its experience. He and many friends active in the 1960-1970 war protests have grieved that none of that history was retained, and he vowed that this history should hold an honored place. From the beginning of our work, archivist Anne Prichard kept careful chronicles for us, in keeping with her many years of training as a librarian at Mullins Library's Special Collections section. After Anne retired from the steering committee in 2008, Karen Idlet has graciously replaced her. Karen has made arrangements for OMNI's paper documents to be housed in Mullins' Special Collections. Beginning in 2009, you will be able to find listings on their site for these documents as they are processed.
